Spanish authorities have detained a German-operated cargo ship, the Antigua & Barbuda-flagged Tony Stark, for causing a spill during a refueling operation near the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. According to Spain’s Merchant Fleet, the ship is barred from leaving the port on Africa’s north coast until its owners pay a bail of 120,000 euros ($130,524). The German-based operator, NautiCore Shipping, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
