Peninsula, the company, has successfully supplied B24 marine biofuel to its customers. This biofuel is a combination of 24% used cooking oil methyl ester (UCOME) and 76% very low sulfur fuel oil (VLSFO), as published on Engine.

The delivery was made by their bunker tanker, Hercules Sky, and it has received certification from the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC). In April, Peninsula included Hercules Sky in their bunker delivery vessel fleet in Gibraltar, enabling them to provide various bunker fuel grades, including biofuel blends, in the region. Peninsula expressed that the growing demand for biofuels in the Mediterranean has reinforced their decision to offer this eco-friendly marine energy solution.
