The latest Global Liner Performance (GLP) Report by Sea-Intelligence (Issue 166) highlights a notable 7.4 percentage point month-on-month (M/M) increase in schedule reliability for May 2025, reaching 65.8%—the highest since November 2023. Compared to the same month last year, reliability is up by 10 percentage points, marking steady progress since February.
Top Carrier Performances

Maersk emerged as the most reliable top-13 carrier with 75.9% schedule reliability.

Hapag-Lloyd followed closely at 72.5%.

Most other major carriers ranged between 60–70%, while

ONE was the lowest performer at 55.1%.
Alliance Performance Comparison
Due to ongoing restructuring, alliance performance was evaluated using two metrics:

“All Arrivals”: includes both origin and destination region calls.

“Trade Arrivals”: focuses on traditional destination-region performance.
