What happened?
LNG tanker ran aground in Rio de la Plata fairway approaching Buenos Aires at around 0100 UTC Jul 30.
Tanker was en route from Corpus Christi. As of 1730 UTC was in the same position, tug at her side, CG boat on standby.
Vessel refloated
According to reports, the vessel was refloated in the evening Jul 30. She resumed moving towards port of destination Escobar LNG Plant.
Anchored for inspection
As of 0400 UTC Jul 31, she was moving through La Plata anchorage, probably to be anchored for inspection.
