Paris, GTT has secured a significant order from a Chinese shipyard for the tank design of eight cutting-edge very large Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carriers, reports GTT.
Design Details
Each LNG carrier will feature five tanks, boasting a collective capacity of 271,000 m3.
The tanks will incorporate GTT’s state-of-the-art NO96 Super+ membrane containment system, ensuring optimal safety and efficiency.
Delivery Schedule
Delivery of the LNG carriers is slated to occur between the second quarter of 2028 and the fourth quarter of 2029.
