The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) announced that it has updated its Bye-Laws, as well as the Articles of the Association.
Key changes include length of board member and board officer terms, with board members now elected for a full 3 years, and all elected officers limited to serving a maximum of two consecutive terms in a particular office, after which they they must take a break of least one year before holding office again.
“Members should note that the amendments to the Articles of the Association are adopted by the membership,” said IBIA, adding that adoption of the new articles is an agenda item for IBIA’s AGM, which is set to take place on February 20.
