- The accreditation follows a successful audit led by ICS Vice Chairman Krishnan Subramaniam FICS and ICS Middle East Chairman Ali Canani FICS, recognizing ADMA’s commitment to delivering high-quality maritime training aligned with global standards.
- With this recognition, ADMA becomes part of ICS’s global network, enhancing access to its internationally respected curriculum and creating new opportunities for maritime professionals in the region.
The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) has announced the official accreditation of Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy (ADMA) as an International Teaching Centre (ITC). This accreditation follows a rigorous audit conducted by Krishnan Subramaniam FICS, Vice Chairman of ICS, and Ali Canani FICS, Chairman of the ICS Middle East Branch, confirming ADMA’s readiness to deliver ICS-accredited programmes to international standards.

With ADMA joining as a fully accredited centre, the UAE becomes part of this prestigious network, extending regional access to ICS’s globally recognised qualifications.

Local Achievements with Global Alignment
ADMA’s Logistics & Survey Department, under Capt. Khalid’s leadership has played a pivotal role in this accomplishment. Over the past five years, the academy has consistently delivered ICS-accredited courses, such as the Foundation Diploma and Advanced Diploma.
Key milestones include:
- 63 Emirati graduates of the ICS Foundation Diploma
- 4 students completing the Advanced Diploma
- 1 candidate achieving full ICS Membership (MICS)
- Consistently high examination performance in ICS Foundation Diploma over the last three years
