In 2022, the International Group (IG) approved the Secro Customer and User Agreement and the Secro Standard e-bill of lading. Subsequently, an updated version of the March 2023 Customer and User Agreement was approved in conjunction with the use of Secro Customer e-bills of lading. Notably, these approvals retained validity for Club cover purposes.
IG’s Latest Approvals: November 2023 Updates
The IG has approved an updated version of the March 2023 Customer and User Agreement, in November 2023. Key modifications include flexibility in opting for the UK or Singapore subordination clause, additions related to jurisdiction and rights of third parties, and the option to choose between Singaporean or English jurisdiction. A new Secro standard e-bill, subject to English law and the UK Act, has been introduced with specific differences from the previous version. Exclusions of cover under Group Club Rules pertaboutgo carriage continue to apply.
