Adora Magic City comes under the Asian cruise line Adora Cruises and is about to have its maiden voyage at the New Year.

Starting with a glamorous look at the outer side of a cruise ship, Captain Peterstam introduces the host to the multiple high-tech amenities in his control room. “Those are the electronic charts so we know where we are sailing. All these displays show us the speed of the vessel and how we move with the current and so on. It shows us our propeller system, how they are angled at the moment.” he says.

Petersham highlights how every tool in the ship is backed up so there won’t be any unpleasant surprises. “If one system fails, another one kicks in. That’s why you hear these alarms. For instance, when the satellite drops and so on, there is an alarm for everything… so, it’s quite an operation.”
