Norbulk Shipping has introduced Kaiko Systems’ SIRE 2.0 self-assessment software across its fleet of 27 tanker vessels as the Sire 2.0 ship inspection live launch is to be held on second of September.

Norbulk Implements Kaiko Systems
Norbulk, the UK based ship company is ready to implement Port State Control of Kaiko Systems’, a software to a total of 60 dry and wet vessels. This initiative is designed to enhance the performance of the ship as well as to empower the seafarers with tools to help them tackle issues with better equipment and with ease. Norbulk states that its’ crews’ workloads has been reduced comparatively with the help of this new software. Crew members feel it is very user-friendly, easy to engage thus making it a valuable tool to improve operational efficiency and Port State Control readiness.

This software is also expected to reduce the cost by reducing the need for more man-power as the work can now be done remotely.
