The Knutsen Group has added the Wadi Al Sail to its fleet, a new 174,000 cubic meter LNG carrier. This vessel is the third of ten that the company has chartered to QatarEnergy, a state-owned petroleum company and a major producer of liquefied natural gas.
Key Details of the Delivery
The Wadi Al Sail joins the Knutsen Group’s fleet just four weeks after the delivery of the previous vessel in the series. The company emphasized that the new carrier was designed for efficiency and reduced emissions, aligning with its goal of a more sustainable future for maritime transport. Following this delivery, the Knutsen Group’s LNG fleet now consists of 34 vessels.
