KPI, Neste, and Global Energy Deliver First Renewable Diesel in Singapore

• KPI OceanConnect and Neste successfully delivered Neste MY Renewable Diesel™ to the cruise sector at the Singapore Cruise Terminal in November 2024.
• Neste MY Renewable Diesel™ can reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by up to 90% compared to fossil diesel, providing a drop-in solution suitable for all diesel-powered engines.
• KPI OceanConnect, Neste, and Global Energy partnered to facilitate this delivery, advancing renewable energy solutions in the Asia-Pacific marine sector.

The renewable diesel, sourced from Vopak Penjuru Terminal, was transported via the Maple (IMO Type II Bunker Tanker) operated by Global Energy. KPI OceanConnect ensured seamless delivery and worked closely with the cruise vessel’s technical team to ensure compliance with engine requirements, according to KPI OceanConnect.
