- London International Shipping Week 2025 (LISW25) and Inmarsat Maritime, a Viasat company, have announced a collaborative effort to spearhead innovation in the maritime industry.
- The Maritime Innovation Technology Working Group will be formed to address critical challenges facing the sector.
Chaired by Ben Palmer OBE, President of Inmarsat Maritime, the working group will bring together industry experts to develop innovative solutions. The group’s findings will be presented at the LISW25 Headline Conference, which will be hosted at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) headquarters.
Strengthening London’s Maritime Hub Status
Inmarsat Maritime’s involvement underscores London’s position as a global maritime hub. The company, founded by the IMO, has a rich history of supporting maritime innovation. This new initiative further solidifies London’s role as a leader in driving the maritime industry forward.
