In a major development, Maersk North America has unveiled Maersk Customs Navigator as it looks to broaden its platform and improve user experience, says an article published in Port Technology.
Greater Data Visibility
According to a statement, the new technological improvements will give customers greater visibility to data.
- It outlined its plans to add data feeds from Maersk Supply Chain Management products and services into Vandegrift’s cloud-based VFI Track.
- VFI Track will then be rebranded as Maersk Customs Navigator.
How will it help in Customs Filing?
Managing multiple data sets when filing Customs entries by country often causes extra time, variation risk and cost with such significant transactions for importers.
Most Customs Brokers also use different information systems for different countries.
Vandegrift – a Maersk Company offers a platform that allows seamless information flow from origin to destination with filing capability in both the US and Canada using one broker. This creates a new best-in-class systems feature for importers.
