The 115,000DWT crude /product carrier No. 1 “MAERSK SILVIA” built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry for Maersk Tankers was signed for delivery, says an article published in Xinde Marine News.
Delivery document signed
This ship is the fifth ship in a series of 10 ship projects built by DSIC for Maersk Tankers. Representatives of all parties attended the delivery ceremony and signed the delivery documents.
About the fleet
“MAERSK SILVIA” has a total length of 250.0 meters, a molded width of 44.0 meters, a molded depth of 21.9 meters, and a deadweight of 115,000DWT; This series of ships have excellent fuel-saving performance and cargo capacity, and is a new generation of crude/product carrier.
Construction has done almost
Nearly half of the ships of this series have been completed, and the ship construction period and construction quality are becoming mature and stable.
