U.S.-based startup Chance Maritime Technologies announces the completion of long-endurance commissioning trials for its MC-29 uncrewed surface vessel (USV), reports Marine Link.
Key Features
The MC-29 is a 29-foot-long, mission-capable USV designed for high-power operation with extended endurance.
Notable features include kilowatts of continuously available payload power, over 30 days of endurance, a 19” payload rack, moon pool, active gyro stabilization, and high-bandwidth Starlink satellite communications.
Operational Achievements
During testing, the MC-29 completed over 40 total operational days, with 24 of those days involving continuous 24-hour operations in Vermilion Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
