Capesize bulk carrier E R BAYONNE suffered a mechanical failure while transiting Bosphorus Strait in northern direction, in front of Kanlica, Beykoz, Istanbul, at around 0820 UTC Sep 23.
Ship Under Control
The disabled ship was taken under control by several tugs, completed transit, and was anchored at Istanbul outer anchorage in the Black sea.
The ship was en route from Norway to understood, Eregli, Turkey, Black sea. As of 1400 UTC, the ship remained at anchor.
