A container ship at around 1000 UTC May 30 suffered mechanical failure in Dardanelles south of Canakkale, while transiting the Strait in southern direction.
The ship anchored off Kilitbahir, later she was taken to Erenkoy anchorage and anchored there, with tugs assistance.
As of 1440 UTC May 30 she remained in the same position. LIDER HALIL is en route from Novorossiysk Russia to Alexandria Egypt.
