Container freight rates out of Ningbo continued their upward trajectory during the week ending 12 December 2025, with the Weekly Composite Index reflecting strong gains across major east–west and regional routes.
The index, compiled by the Ningbo Shipping Exchange and promoted by the Baltic Exchange, captures benchmark rates for 20ft, 40ft, and high-cube containers. It is issued every Friday at 1600 Beijing time, excluding Chinese holidays.
