Missing Cruise Ship Nanny ‘Had Sex With Man in Front of Female Lover’

Newly emerged police notes claim missing cruise ship worker Rebecca Coriam had sex with a male crew member in front of her on-board female lover.

Controversy surrounds the disappearance of the 24-year-old who vanished off the Disney Wonder as the boat sailed into Mexican waters, near Puerto Vallarta, in March 2011.

The Liverpool student’s parents, senior UK politicians and private investigators all believe she was killed by somebody on the ship, and dismiss Disney’s suggestions that a freak wave toppled her overboard.

Now, the ECHO has obtained a copy of the Bahamian officer-in-charge’s notes after he interviewed both the American female – Rebecca’s girlfriend – and a male crew member, from Central America, immediately after her going missing.

It reveals testimonies that the Hope University student was caught up in a love triangle, which left her unhappy and fearing for her safety.

But the Coriam family believe their daughter was sexually assaulted , and any sex she had outside of her lesbian relationship was forced, and not consensual.

In the never-seen-before notes of Superintendent Paul Rolle’s, sent by the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office to Rebecca’s parents Mike and Ann, it shows how Rebecca’s final movements centred on her sexual relationships with two crew members on board.

The papers state: “(American woman in relationship with Rebecca) left to get more beer.”

“Came back and Rebecca and (male crew member who was in a relationship with the American woman) chatting.”

“She came back and all 3 went to (male crew member’s) room.”

“(Male crew member) had sex with both. (American woman) left the room again to get beer.”

“Came back and Rebecca and (male crew member) had sex.”

Later on in the notes, Superintendent Rolle remarks how the male crew member had a “very nonchalant attitude” when being questioned.

He was “laughing and joking,” and police had to “give him a warning.”

The Coriam family and their supporters strongly suspect their daughter was killed because she wouldn’t agree to an open bisexual relationship with the male and female crew members.

Liverpool maritime expert Bill Anderson, helping the family get answers about the 24-year-old’s fate, told the ECHO: “Everything has been covered up.”

“Rebecca was a happy-go-lucky person with plenty to live for.”

“The only thing that was upsetting her was pressure being placed on her to have sex with somebody she didn’t want to.”

“But the investigation, by one sole detective from the Bahamas, and the carefree way they let suspects out of their grasp beggars belief.”

After Rebecca went missing, two of her best friends visited her parents at their home in Guilder Sutton, near Chester, and revealed how their pal had confided in them that she was scared of being raped or sexually assaulted while on board the cruise ship.

No stormy seas were recorded to support Disney’s theory of a freak wave accident, and politicians have voiced their fears “murder suspects” remain at large.

The Coriam family, who last month presented a seven-page dossier to the government’s Policing Minister, Brandon Lewis, with the probe’s apparent failings, want a new enquiry into her presumed death.

They have accepted an undisclosed sum of money from Disney as part of a settlement with the cruise company.

In recent years, the ECHO has exposed a catalogue of flaws in the Bahamas’ Police investigation including how the flip flops handed to Rebecca’s heartbroken parents, when returning her possessions, did not belong to her.

And the Penny Lane student’s favourite shorts were ripped when they were handed back to her parents, evidence of a violent struggle just before her death, her parents think.
