Monjasa Expands Fleet with Double Tanker Acquisition
In a strategic move to enhance its capabilities in the West African marine fuels market, Monjasa has acquired two new tankers, Monjasa Leader and Monjasa Refiner. The Monjasa Leader, boasting a substantial loading capacity of 68,589-dwt and an impressive length overall of 228m, represents the most significant tanker acquisition for the company. The vessels will primarily serve as floating storage units, a critical component of Monjasa’s operations in West Africa, allowing efficient cargo loading for supply tankers. Both tankers underwent comprehensive refurbishments and rebranding to align with Monjasa’s fleet design.
