In a major development, the Global oil and shipping group Monjasa Ltd on Thursday (2 June) announced that they are following their acquisition of five new tankers last year and is currently renaming and updating the design of 10 of its tankers with the help of in-house ship management company Montec.
The company also published photographs of its Malta flagged Monjasa Provider getting her new name and look painted during her Special Survey in Spain, before resuming refuelling operations in the English Channel from Monjasa’s oil terminal at Portland Port.
The five tankers being renamed are:
- Monjasa Ranger (12,222-dwt)
- Monjasa Supplier (8,839-dwt)
- Monjasa Sprinter (8,125-dwt)
- Monjasa Provider (4,279-dwt)
- Monjasa Performer (3,798-dwt)
