Norwegian tonnage provider MPC Container Ships (MPCC) has successfully delivered NCL Vestland, the first of two methanol dual-fuel 1,279 TEU containerships. The vessel was built at Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering in China, representing a significant step towards sustainable shipping.

• In July 2024, MPCC took delivery of its final 5,500 TEU methanol-ready boxship, named Colorado, from South Korea’s HJ Shipbuilding & Construction. The ship entered a seven-year charter with ZIM Integrated Shipping Services.
