MFAME recently published a news where Navig8 tankers clinched a $55 million loan to finance its new buildings in Japan.
Following the loan deal, Navig8 Chemical Tankers Inc. has taken delivery of its first stainless steel chemical tanker, the Navig8 Sirius, from Japanese shipbuilder Kitanihon Shipbuilding Co. Ltd.
Navig8 Sirius:
- 25,000 dwt
- First of six vessels ordered at Kitanihon, Japan
- Is 159 meters in length and 25 meters wide.
The remaining 5 other stainless steel tankers are expected to join the Navig8 pool in 2016-2017.
