The NCFI, compiled by the Ningbo Shipping Exchange and promoted by the Baltic Exchange, provides weekly composite indices covering 20ft, 40ft, and Hi Cube container rates from Ningbo to various global destinations. The index is reported every Friday (except Chinese holidays) at 1600 Beijing time.
As of April 18, 2025, the Ningbo Containerised Freight Index (NCFI) reported the following rates:

These figures indicate a general decline in freight rates across all monitored routes, with the most significant drop observed on the Ningbo to Europe route.
