Capital Gas Ship Management takes delivery of a new LNG carrier built by South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries, reports NaturalGasWorld.
About the LNGC
The carrier, Aristarchos, with a cargo capacity of 174,000 m3 is equipped with the latest available technologies, including an air lubrication system and increased filling limits, Capital Gas said.
Time charter deal
It is the third of seven ships to be delivered by Hyundai Heavy between 2020-2023. The vessel has been chartered to Cheniere for a period of up to six years.
Capital Gas fleet
Capital Gas currently manages a fleet of seven LNG carriers with a total carrying capacity of approximately 1.2mn m3.
