NORDEN Raises Profit Estimation After Vessel Sales Arouse

On witnessing the gains from solid operative performance and profitable vessel transactions, Danish shipping giant NORDEN has raised its full-year 2025 profit forecast. The Company has sold a total of eleven vessels so far this year as part of its strategy to acknowledge asset values, including five from declared purchase options, according to the report published by NORDEN. 

NORDEN’s Expectations on Profit Forecast

NORDEN has upgraded its 2025 full-year guidance, now anticipating a net profit between USD 50 million and USD 130 million, up from the earlier calculation of USD 20 million to USD 100 million. Also expecting gains of USD 45 million from vessel sales (earlier USD 16 million), with a net profit impact of USD 23 million after tax and other items.

The CEO, Jan Rindbo, stated that in aiming for attractive returns, the firm is actively managing its portfolio of owned and leased vessels to reduce risk and improve exposure.
