The new LNG carrier LNG Endurance, commercially managed by France LNG Shipping and under a long-term charter contract with French energy giant TotalEnergies, was delivered on 1 December, reports Offshore Energy.
Dual fuel engines
The LNG Endurance was built by Samsung Heavy Industries in Geoje, South Korea, and it will operate under long term charter with TotaEnergies Gas & Power. The carrier has a cargo capacity of 174,000 cubic metres and features a WinGD X-DF engine that can operate on fuel oil or boil off gas.
LNG Endurance is a sistership of the LNG Enterprise and LNG Endeavour, which were completed in October this year.
