Ocean Network Express (ONE) and the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance maritime talent development through scholarships and internships.
Key Highlights of the MoU
- Scholarships & Internships: ONE will sponsor two MaritimeONE scholarships (including overseas exchange programs) and two MaritimeONE internships per year from 2025 to 2027.
- Candidate Selection: SMF will manage and promote the scholarships and internships, with joint candidate selection by ONE and SMF.
- MaritimeONE Initiative: This collaboration is part of SMF’s MaritimeONE programs, designed to connect young talent with immersive learning experiences in the maritime industry.

ONE has been actively involved in SMF’s initiatives, including:
- MaritimeONE Company Connect: Hosting company visits for students.
- Maritime Youth Forum: Participating as a keynote speaker and exhibitor.
- MaritimeONE VIP Pass 2024: Providing winners an exclusive opportunity to visit ONE’s vessels and have lunch with the CEO.
