Oil Leak As Tanker Collides With Berthed Cargo Ship

Water supply tanker struck berthed general cargo ship as reported by Maritime Bulletin.

In Ulysses Bay, Port Vladivostok, Russia, on May 22, the water supply tanker LOTOS collided with the berthed general cargo ship VYACHESLAV ANISIMOV. The tanker was manoeuvring into position to moor. VYACHESLAV ANISIMOV suffered a hull break or breaches in the fuel tank area, resulting in a diesel oil spill. VYACHESLAV ANISIMOV continued in the same role as of May 23. The tanker was only slightly damaged, if at all.
