A Panamanian tanker, played a crucial role in a recent search and rescue operation coordinated by the Greek Coast Guard. The tanker assisted in saving a vessel in distress, reports Safety4sea.
Swift Action
As reported, the vessel responded immediately to the call from Greek authorities. Through the swift actions of its crew, 73 individuals were successfully rescued. Onboard, the survivors received comprehensive care, including medical attention, food, water, and shelter, ensuring their well-being after the ordeal. According to the Panama Maritime Authority (PMA) the operation took place on 29 November.
