PaxOcean Bags Order to Build Up to 10 New MPSVs

Shipbuilder PaxOcean reports that it has recently entered into a significant contract with an esteemed Greek shipowner, whose identity remains confidential at this time. This agreement entails the construction of a fleet of multipurpose service vessels (MPSV) – a total of up to 10 ships will be expertly crafted by PaxOcean’s team.

Zhousan Yard Delivery

The significant orders come as demand rises across the offshore support vessel (OSV) sector. 

PaxOcean, a reputable subsidiary of the renowned Singapore-based Kuok Maritime Group, has recently announced the commencement of construction for state-of-the-art vessels at its shipyard in Zhoushan, China.

From the third quarter of 2026 onwards, the cutting-wedges should be compete and ready for delivery.

Advanced Design by Salt Ship Design

Designed by Salt Ship Design of Norway, the 5,000 DWT capacity vessels will not only feature dynamic positioning (DP2). It will also incorporate state-of-the-art advancements in offshore vessel technology.
