At the sold-out event, hosted by the Pacific Merchant Shipping Association and Women in Logistics, Executive Director Danny Wan expressed gratitude to the Port’s business partners, customers, and local stakeholders. Board President Michael Colbruno reaffirmed the Port’s role as a major economic driver for the region, according to the Port of Oakland.
With Danny Wan set to retire, Chief Operating Officer Kristi McKenney will assume the role of Executive Director. She outlined her vision for the Port’s future, emphasizing modernization, sustainability, and community engagement.
