Product Tanker Caught Fire Off Busan!

On May 20 evening, a product tanker STRILEN reportedly caught fire in its super structure off Busan, South Korea.  The vessel is reportedly docked in Busan when fire engulfed it and was carrying a cargo of cattle feed at the time of the incident.

All 23 crew members of the vessel were safely evacuated to safety, with no reports of any injuries or suffocation.  Nearly 40 fire engines were reportedly engaged in fighting the fire by making their way through mazes of cabins and compartments in their attempt to locate the fire on her superstructure.

There were no reports of the extent of damage and cause of the fire available.  Mfame will update its readers when more information is available.
