QatarEnergy has entered into a long-term agreement with Singapore-based Shell International Eastern Trading Company (Shell) to supply naphtha. Under the terms of the 20-year deal, QatarEnergy will deliver up to 18 million tons of naphtha to Shell, with deliveries set to commence in April 2025.
Strengthening a Strategic Partnership
This agreement reinforces the strong and enduring partnership between QatarEnergy and Shell. Over the years, both companies have collaborated on several major energy projects in Qatar and worldwide. Their joint ventures include QatarEnergy’s LNG projects, the Pearl Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) plant, and numerous other shared investments in the energy sector.
