- Engineering Company and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry held the signing ceremony of order for six LNG fuel gas supply systems (FGSS).
- FGSS equipment signed this time will serve the six 16,000TEU dual-fuel container vessels built for the world’s largest container ship owner MSC.
A recent news article published in the Xinde Marine News states that Qingdao SunRui received MSC six 16,000TEU container vessels FGSS batch orders.
World’s largest low speed Dual-fuel engine
The ship is compatible with the world’s largest low speed dual-fuel engine launched by WinGD, and is scheduled to be delivered in 2023.
With the introduction of ship environmental protection regulations and decarbonization policies of various countries, LNG powered ships will be built in large numbers.
In the past, some core technologies in FGSS field were monopolized by a few foreign manufacturers.
