Romanian Shipyard Builds First Ship After 12 Years

The Severnav shipyard in Drobeta-Turnu Severin (tBVB: SEVE) built a ship fully equipped, after a 12-year break, according to information provided by company representatives, says an article published on their website.

Transport of petroleum products

The ship, named Napoleon, was built for Beo Trade Com, one of the most important river transport companies in Central and Eastern Europe.

“Napoleon is a chemical tanker, type C, equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and equipment, specially designed for river transport of petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel and bio-components. With a length of 110 meters, a width of 11.45 meters and a height of 4,580 meters, this vessel provides a carrying capacity of 3,040 cubic meters,” said Aleksandar Stanojevic, manager of Beo Trade Com, according to Ziarul Financiar.
