Royal Caribbean Group has announced its latest agreement with Chantiers de l’Atlantique to order the sixth ship in the celebrated Edge Series for Celebrity Cruises. Scheduled for delivery in 2028, the ship, named Edge 6 or “Xcel 2,” will be a sister ship to Celebrity Xcel, which is set to sail later this year.

Since the debut of Celebrity Edge in 2018, each ship in the series has set new industry standards.
