With new liquefaction capacity coming online in the US, Qatar, and Australia, demand for LNG carriers is expected to rise further. Ship owners and operators are turning to new solutions and technologies to manage resources and optimize operations, with a focus on safety-critical systems like inert gas (IG) systems. As today’s fleet of LNG carriers operates at full capacity, the 300+ new ships joining the fleet are likely to be in high demand upon launch.
