Sallaum Lines has ordered up to six dual-fuel pure car and truck carriers (PCTC) from China Merchants (Jinling) Shipyard for delivery beginning in March 2026, reports JOC.
This latest deal, comprising a firm order for four vessels each with capacity of 7,400 car equivalent units and options for two additional ships, follows on from an order for two, 7,500-space car carriers contracted with Chinese shipyard Mawei Shipbuilding in January. The Mawei vessels are due to enter service in 2025.
