Strengthening China-Europe Maritime Partnerships
The project represents a milestone in Europe-China industrial cooperation. Sallaum Lines, a leading European RORO carrier, collaborated closely with Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding and received customized financing support from Shenzhen Capital Group Co., Ltd, demonstrating how financial and manufacturing collaboration can drive sustainable innovation.
This partnership reinforces the growing role of Chinese shipyards and financial institutions in shaping the future of green maritime logistics on a global scale.
A China-Focused Strategy for Global Logistics Growth
The Ocean Breeze is the first step in Sallaum Lines’ broader China-focused logistics strategy. The company has:
-
Ordered six more green PCTCs from Fujian Mawei and CMHI Jinling
-
Opened a Shanghai office to directly support Chinese automotive OEMs
-
Committed to long-term collaboration in shipbuilding, financing, and operations
Chairman Sami Sallaum emphasized that the company’s success lies in “trust, performance, and a shared commitment to sustainable maritime development.” These efforts aim to create a seamless, green logistics network connecting China to global markets.
With the Ocean Breeze, Sallaum Lines isn’t just delivering a ship—it’s delivering a vision of the future. One where innovation, sustainability, and cross-border cooperation drive progress in global shipping. As demand for low-emission logistics grows, this vessel marks the beginning of a new era in automotive transport—cleaner, faster, and more collaborative.
