Samsung Heavy Industries announced on Tuesday that it has ceased the production of blocks and equipment for 10 out of 15 Arctic LNG carriers contracted with Zvezda.
While Samsung has delivered components for five ships to Zvezda with South Korean government approval, it is now concluding the production for these vessels. For the remaining 10 ships, Samsung has paused production without cancelling the contract, according to a company spokesperson.

And “ZVEZDA” will build the remaining 10 LNGc ships on it’s own, without imported parts ,
using highest domestic technologies – on NEW physical principles!
