Monaco-headquartered Scorpio Tankers has bagged a new long-term charter out deal worth nearly $44m, says an article published on splash.
Unnamed scrubbed
The New York-listed company has fixed an unnamed scrubbed-fitted LR2 to an undisclosed client for three years.
The charter commences in April this year at $40,000 per day corresponding to around $43.8m in fixed revenue.
Leaseback deal
Emanuele Lauro-led Scorpio Tankers sports a fleet of 113 product tankers. The company recently exercised an option to buy back six ships under sale and leaseback deal slashing its debt by nearly $150m.
