Essar Shipping is expecting scrubber payback in 18-24 months, says an article published in Ship&Bunker.
Capital expenditure recoup
India’s Essar Shipping said that the company expects to recoup its capital expenditure on scrubber installations on its ships within 18-24 months.
- Ordered scrubbers for four of its 12 ships
- three mini cape bulk carriers and one very large crude carrier.
- The installations are due to be completed in April or May of this year.
