OCTOPUS Series – Built for Bigger Challenges

SDARI’s OCTOPUS series offers comprehensive deadweight designs ranging from 3,500 DWT to 77,000 DWT with the choice of fuel flexibility. The series covers nearly 40 different ship types under the OCTOPUS brand.

Ming Rong, part of SDARI’s OCTOPUS series, is specially designed for heavy-lift crane capacity and improved container loading capability, facilitating it to efficiently carry bulkier, heavier, and more diverse project cargo.

Rui Fu, the 10th vessel in the OCTOPUS 62 series, has been engineered to manage both heavy-lift project cargo and containerized goods. Assigned to the South Africa Shipping route, the vessel marks its first debut voyage that transports wind power equipment.
