The Harbour police have recovered the body of an engineer who was found dead in a tanker ship bound to United Arab Emirates.
The ship laden with palm oil from Vishakhapatnam was sailing towards UAE. Two days ago, the fourth engineer G. Shivaraj (28) of Thanjavur fainted and died.
The ship was diverted to the port where the body was recovered.
The post-mortem was conducted at Government Stanley Hospital. Initial reports say he died of cardiac arrest.
