3 seamen were rescued from a sinking vessel in the east of Cape Hatteras, NC.
On 2nd November, 2015 Sector North Carolina watch standers got the call at 7 a.m. that the 60-foot motor vessel Teal was taking on water with three people aboard.
The Guard launched a 47-foot Motor Lifeboat and Cutter Nantucket shortly. Crews deployed two dewatering pumps but they were not keeping up with the rate of flooding.
