Seaspan Corporation Begins Search For New Chief Financial Officer
In a recent announcement, Seaspan Corporation said that their company’s Chief Financial Officer Sai Chu has decided to resign and retire after a successful 10 year tenure with Seaspan and related entities.
Brief track-record of Sai Chu:
- Joined Seaspan in 2005
- Held positions in finance before being appointed as CFO in 2007
- Dynamic contributor to Seaspan’s growth over the past decade
- Lead the financial function of Seaspan
- Prior to 2005, worked with various companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange
- Have been a qualified chartered professional accountant, chartered accountant and chartered professional accountant, certified management accountant.
Gerry Wang, Chief Executive Officer, Co-Chairman and Co-Founder of Seaspan stated, “He will be missed, and we wish him all the best in his retirement and future endeavors.”
Seaspan is looking for a new CFO. Mark Chu-Seaspan’s Vice Presdient, Corporate Development and General Counsel will serve as an interim CFO.
