On November 12, the ship officer of a vessel was reportedly found dead in his cabin with a bloody head.
What happened?
The police officials in Toyama Shinko port, Honshu reportedly received a call from the ship agent of the vessel ‘Iman’. The vessel agent reported that the second officer aboard the vessel was found dead in his cabin. The vessel had docked in Toyama Shinko when the incident was reported.
Found with a bloody head:
The second officer was discovered dead in his cabin under mysterious circumstances with a bloody head. The police officials suspect that he could have been murdered due to an altercation.
Investigation launched:
The police have launched an investigation over the death of the ship officer and has apprehended the 20 crew members onboard the vessel for further investigation. The ship will be docked in Toyama Shinko until further orders.
