Sentosa Service Returns To Southeast Asia And India

The efforts to satisfy market demand and offer competitive transit times, MSC is revising the rotation of its Sentosa service, says an article published.

Improved interconnectivity and transit times

The service will now include port calls at Port Klang, Singapore and Busan, as well as reinstating its India connections, providing MSC customers with improved interconnectivity and transit times between Southeast Asia, China and the U.S. West Coast.

New rotation

The new rotation of the service will be as follows:

Port Klang – Singapore – Laem Chabang – Vung Tau – Busan – Long Beach – Oakland – Busan – Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Singapore – Colombo – Mundra – Nhava Sheva – Colombo – Port Klang

Intra-Asia network

Haiphong will no longer feature in the rotation, but will continue to connect to the Sentosa service via Busan and offer rapid transit times via  intra-Asia network.

Transit times will be Busan to Long Beach in 12 Days, Mundra to Long Beach in 40 days.

The first vessel on this new rotation will be MSC FRANCESCA, Voyage number FV336A, due to arrive in Port Klang on 5 September 2023.
